Hydration is also faster than the spray dried powder in all but a few unique applications.
TIC Gums
Pre-Hydrated] Gum Arabic Spray Dry Powder
Odor: characteristic
Use: Agglomerated version of our highest quality gum arabic. In a typical beverage emulsion, merely spray dried gum arabic is mixed for 4 to 16 hours before oil addition, but with Pre-Hydrated] Gum Arabic Spray Dry the gum is ready for oil addition after only 45 minutes of mixing. Plus, there is almost no dust during dumping, yielding a safer working environment. The agglomerated version retains all the functional properties of the starting material, TIC Pretested] Gum Arabic Spray Dry Power.
